About us
Welcome to the Potteries Folk Club! Our club was founded over 60 years ago and has been dedicated to promoting and preserving traditional folk music ever since, but we have also moved with the times and now embrace folk music in all its genres.

We host guest performances every month from some of the finest folk musicians from around the country and the world, but we also provide a platform for floor singers. At the Potteries Folk Club, we believe that folk music is more than just a genre of music; it's a living, breathing tradition that has been passed down and evolved from generation to generation. We are committed to keeping this tradition alive by also providing a platform for local musicians to showcase their talents, and by supporting emerging artists to develop their skills. Please contact us if you would like a floor spot on a particular night or even a showcase spot in the Summer Showcases!

Our aim is to create a welcoming and inclusive space where everyone can come together to enjoy the rich cultural heritage of folk music. We meet on the second Friday of every month at the Fenton Town Hall Café in Fenton, Stoke-on-Trent.

Our events are open to everyone, whether you're an audience member, experienced musician or a complete novice, a seasoned folkie or just curious about this wonderful genre of music, we invite you to come along to one of our events and experience the magic of the Potteries Folk Club for yourself. Have a look at our "What's On" page!
Everyone is welcome and you don't need to be a club member!
